| First Reconciliation for Children |
The immediate preparation for the celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation is done within the family home, with additional input from the
parish staff. Parents of second graders (and older children who have not received the Sacrament) are invited to attend an evening meeting that will assist them in starting this program with their children. Textbooks and other helpful information will be provided. According to Archdiocesan guidelines, children who are preparing to celebrate their First Reconciliation must be enrolled in either a
Catholic school or the
parish's Primary School Religious Education Program both during the year of preparation as well as the year prior to preparation.
The Parent Meeting for the sacramental preparation of First
Reconciliation will be in September 21, 2008 @ 2PM the Parish Hall.
The
Sacrament First Reconciliation is scheduled for December 1, 2008 @
7PM in the Church.
