The
success of our
school events
depends upon the
help of our
parents.
If
you’ve been
looking for a
way to get more
involved at
school, there are
many
opportunities
available to all
for the
2006-2007 school
year and
beyond!
Please take a
moment to review
the list below
where our school
needs volunteers
for
chairpersons or
co-chair
positions.
A very brief
description of
each event is
provided, and if
you are
interested but
would like more
detailed
information, an
HSA board member
will be happy to
talk with you or
put you in touch
with the current
volunteer for
that specific
opening.
We hope you will
consider some of
these
possibilities
that help your
child, our
teachers and the
efficiency of
our school!

Decorating Committee
Year round
A chairperson is needed to recruit and oversee parents who
can sew, are
creative, and
have good ideas
with regards to
making our
classrooms and
common areas
more beautiful.
This committee
can make quite
an impact on our
schools
presentation to
visiting/prospective
families and
brighten our
hallways and
stairwells for
everyday
enjoyment!
Santa’s
Workshop
Shopping year round!
A
co-chair is
needed that
could help the
current
chairperson with
Santa's workshop
and then take it
over the next
year. It’s a
real plus to
like to shop and
look for
bargains
throughout the
year! This
annual event
allows the
children a
chance to
purchase
inexpensive
gifts for their
families and
friends at
Christmas time.
Fun Day
End of May
A
co-chair is
needed to work
with the current
chairperson this
school
year (2006-2007)
to learn the
ropes. She
would like to
turn the
responsibility
over after
that. This
annual event
takes place
during the
school day and
involves all the
children.
Booths with
games, food, and
crafts and more
are set up
around the
school campus
all aimed at
providing a fun
environment for
everyone.
